Metrics & Goals

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the MGS RPM Membership. My name is Nick from MitigateStress.com, and we’re still in week one, prepping the foundation. This is video number two, and today we’re diving into metrics and goals. My microphone gave out in the last video, but we’re back and ready to mitigate some stress.

In this exciting video, we’re talking about how to track your progress using metrics and goals, which are essentially the same thing. Keep your journal close, as you’ll be using it every day to write down your goals, current status, and where you want to be. Metrics are crucial, and we’ll break them down into several categories:

  1. Body Composition: Track muscle growth, fat reduction, and measurements (arms, legs, thighs, waist).
  2. Athleticism: Focus on agility, dexterity, speed, balance, and weight transfer.
  3. Conditioning and Cardio: Monitor your cardiovascular fitness and endurance.
  4. Strength: Measure your physical power and lifting capabilities.
  5. Power and Explosiveness: Assess your ability to perform rapid, high-intensity movements.
  6. Posture and Flexibility: Evaluate your body alignment and range of motion.
  7. Feel: Record any pain, past injuries, and overall body connectivity and stability.
  8. Sleep: Track your sleep quality, including REM cycles and ability to stay asleep.
  9. Looks: Assess your physical appearance, skin health, and posture.
  10. Digestion: Monitor how different foods affect your digestion.
  11. Mental and Spiritual Health: Reflect on your mental well-being and spiritual connectedness.

Use video evidence to track your progress. Record yourself to see visual improvements in your posture and technique. This will help uncover imbalances and refine your movements.

Remember, this is a sustainable, lifelong routine. Rate each metric from 0 to 100 and focus on consistent improvement. We’ll guide you on what to prioritize first as we build the foundation. Show up, do the homework, and we’ll see you in the next video, where we’ll discuss assessments in detail. God bless, and see you then. Peace.
