If you’re looking for a supplement that packs a punch and provides numerous health benefits, look no further than shilajit. But before you start taking shilajit, it’s important to understand how it works and the various forms it can come in.

Shilajit is a powerful supplement used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine. It is produced by the breakdown of plant material and minerals over time, usually found in high mountain ranges such as the Himalayas. Shilajit typically appears as a sticky black substance with tar-like characteristics, and it contains numerous essential nutrients that are beneficial to human health. Our High Himalayan Shilajit is exceptional in purity and goes through a low-heat, efficient extraction process. It contains over 84 organic trace minerals and high fulvic acid levels that are advantageous to the body’s functioning as they activate enzymes for cellular energy and aid in better utilizing other compounds.

In addition to its many medicinal properties, shilajit can also be taken in several forms—tablets, resin, or liquid drops—allowing users to customize their dosage according to their individual needs.

Supplementing our bodies with minerals, such as those found in shilajit, can be beneficial to help eliminate heavy metals, industrial chemicals, and drugs (if taken earlier in life). Consuming plenty of raw saturated fats throughout the day is an important catalyst for utilizing minerals and protein. Raw fats help cleanse the body by binding to toxic byproducts and removing them safely.

Since fats heated above 104° Fahrenheit aren’t easily digested, assimilated, or utilized, we recommend raw fats. Raw fat can be found in coconut cream, fat in meat, unsalted raw cheeses, sour cream, raw dairy cream, full-fat milk, raw eggs, avocados, stone-pressed olive oil, and other non-vegetable cold-pressed oils below 96° Fahrenheit.

Tablets

Shilajit tablets offer a convenient and straightforward way to get the nutritional benefits of shilajit. This naturally-sourced supplement is black-brown with a distinct taste, harvested from the majestic Altai Mountains in Siberia. Pre-measured and pressed into small tablets without any binding agents or fillers, these pills are an excellent starting point for anyone looking to reap all that shilajit has to offer!

How to Use

Start your morning or power through the day with shilajit tablets for an energy boost and improved concentration, all while receiving essential nutrients benefiting your overall health. If you take shilajit too late in the day, it may disrupt your sleep patterns. To prevent this from happening, consuming shilajit during the morning or afternoon is advised.

Taking shilajit tablets is simple; take 2 tablets (400mg) per day with or after a meal for optimal absorption. Depending on your individual needs, you may need to adjust the dosage accordingly. Athletes or advanced individuals can increase the dose to 1-2g daily.

Dissolve one or two tablets on the tongue or below it for optimal results. If you find the taste too strong for your liking, simply gulp them down with water like any other pill. After taking shilajit, you can drink a small cup (30mL) of water. If your stomach feels uncomfortable, drink more water or eat something low in calories.

Shilajit Resin

Shilajit resin is pure shilajit extract in its natural form. It comes in a tar-like form that can easily be scooped for dosage purposes. Resin is highly concentrated, so it’s typically sold in small containers, and you only need a very small dose each day. This form of supplement is ideal for those who want all the health benefits of shilajit without any added ingredients or fillers.

Our shilajit resin is produced through low-heat extraction without any binders or fillers, resulting in one of the purest forms of shilajit available on the market today. It is processed in an FDA GMP and ISO 9001:2008 Certified Facility, packaged in the USA, and free from fertilizers, chemicals, and pesticides – making it 100% natural vegan/vegetarian friendly, and gluten-free.

How to Use

Shilajit resin is best taken on an empty stomach or with breakfast. Adults should take 250mg twice a day, while children ages two and up can start with a dose of 1/2 the adult size (125mg). Shilajit resin can be taken directly or dissolved into a liquid. If you find pure shilajit’s taste too strong for your liking, you can mix the tablets with raw cream or raw milk to make it more palatable.

Shilajit resin comes in the form of a thick paste and should be taken in very small amounts – about the size of the bottom of a pen, the tip of a butter knife, or a small pea-sized amount. Taking shilajit resin more than twice a day is not recommended.

Liquid Drops

Shilajit liquid drops are another popular form of supplement that many people prefer over tablets or resin because it’s easier to measure out and mix into food or drink if needed. These drops usually come in small bottles with droppers attached so that you can accurately measure the right amount every time.

Our High Himalayan Shilajit Liquid Drops provide a convenient and concentrated source of shilajit extracted from an elevation above 16,000 ft. It contains carbon-bonded trace minerals, micronutrients, shilajit paste, and liquid fulvic acid and is water-extracted and water-soluble. The raw, low-heat extraction process helps preserve essential nutrients for maximum benefit.

How to Use

To reap the benefits of shilajit liquid drops, adults should take one pump in the dropper two to three times daily. Shilajit liquid drops can be taken directly or mixed into water, raw milk, juice, or any other drink if desired. As with other forms of shilajit, it is best to take it in the morning or afternoon so as not to disturb your ability to sleep.

Conclusion:

Deciding which type of shilajit suits you best is a matter of personal choice. Many opt for tablets as they are easier to use and avoid the taste, while others favor the resin because it’s thick, potent, and long-lasting; plus, its flavor isn’t as strong as the liquid drops. However, don’t discount liquid drops – they may be more convenient in terms of dosage and are enriched with fulvic minerals and concentrated ocean trace minerals too!

No matter which type of shilajit supplement you choose, it’s important to remember that everyone’s body reacts differently, and what works for one person may not work for another person. Whichever option you choose, make sure to always consult your healthcare professional first before making any significant changes to your diet or lifestyle routine!

    • Hi Jill,

We ship our 8oz Travel bottles and shilajit internationally. If there is a restriction for shipping where you live, though, we have many international customers who use third-party shipping companies that give you a US address to order to, and then their service ships to you. You might check and see if that’s available for your area if our products show they can’t ship to you. Sometimes you can choose different quantities as well, and that will go through.
